The HTC Rhyme may be specifically made for women or for those who loves the color purple, but it does not mean that it is something not worth having. We will talk about the phone’s hardware and then you will see why this one is a must have.
 
The candy bar style of this handset may look deliciously tempting. Its pearl grape color is peeking loudly from behind its WVGA touch screen. It doesn’t end there as the accent is known to extend around the phone’s display and one that cuts across the back of the phone. A lot of HTC lovers will notice its resemblance with the Flyer (HTC’s tablet), but the only difference is that this is a handset and not a tablet.
 
If you look at the phone’s back, you will find a camera (5MP), a LED flash, a speaker, and some of the phone’s electrical charging points. If you open the battery cover, you will see its 1600mAh battery with a pre-installed 8 gigabyte microSD card. At the back of the phone, you will see its embedded antenna. With its translucent casing, you will see more of the phone’s inside. With its non-removable battery, that’s the only thing that you will see inside.
 
At 130 grams or 4.58 ounce, the phone is considered as petite and solid. This is just like the other handsets from HTC. With its soft materials, the Rhyme is quite easy to grip. The actual measurements of the phone are 4.69 x 2.39 x.43 inches. It is truly petite and made for a woman’s hand. At the top of the unit, you will find its power button with its headphone jack and noise-cancelling microphone. If you look at the handset’s right side, you will see its volume rocker, charging port, and micro-USB socket situated on the phone’s left side. If you look at the handset’s bottom part, you will see its secondary microphone. This ensures crisp sounds all the time.
 
The phone’s 3.7 inch WVGA touch screen features a front-facing camera (VGA) and flashing LED notification light. If you look at the phone’s bottom screen, you will then find touch controls for home, menu, search, and back buttons. On its backside, you will find its LED flash, low powered speaker, 5MP autofocus camera, and electrical charging points.
 
You do not have to worry about the phone’s WVGA display. It is sharp and bright. It offers impressive viewing angles (left and right). It also boasts a 252ppi screen; this is capable of giving its user clarity.
