There are many different computer components that work to make computer use easy. Some of these components may be optional in terms of achieving maximum speed and storage but many other computer components are necessary so that the computer can run properly and keep programs operating as they should. One of the most important computer components is the operating system. This is the system that tells programs how to interact with each other. If the operating system is damaged or corrupted, it can render a computer completely useless. Many newer modeled computers have a drive dedicated to backing up the operating system specifically for this reason so that if it is damaged, it can be rebooted from that drive and all is not lost.

Memory is another one of those necessary computer components that determines how well your computer works and how many tasks you are able to handle at once. If the computer becomes short on memory, a temporary solution may be to delete some of the items on the computer that are taking up memory or close down any programs running which you aren’t using. However, often a memory upgrade is necessary, particularly when lack of memory is causing programs to run slowly, to stall or to crash. The most common memory needs are for RAM and such memory can be purchased and added to make computing easy.

There are all sorts of programs on most computer systems that won’t be used. The manufacturer has installed some programs that you probably don’t want or even realize are there. By doing away with them, you can increase the speed of your computer. Some applications are installed, almost unknowingly, when your install a new program. Toolbars are frequently added to an installation and will be installed on your computer unless you specifically select the option not to use it.

Photo by liewcfEveryone has been buzzing about the new Windows Phone 7 Smartphone platform. There a number of phone companies that worked diligently to make its release a success. One of the most noted companies is HTC. They have created several phones designed to run exclusively with the Windows 7 Smartphone platform but the one that stands out to us the most is the HTC Mozart. You don’t have to look hard to see why this phone is a clear winner for HTC.

You simply have to take a look at the phone to start seeing the benefits. The first thing that you will notice is that it features a single piece aluminum casing. This makes the phone a bit sturdier than others on the market. The processor is a 1 GHz and runs on the now common place snapdragon chipset. The screen has 3.7″ of viewing area and it stores up to 8 GB. This is a decent amount of data.

The camera is another great feature of this phone. It takes pictures up to 8 megapixels and has done away with the standard LCD flash. Instead it has a xenon flash that offers a stronger flash of light when taking pictures. Keep in mind that the phone takes great pictures but not quite the quality you would get from a similar camera. This is partially because the phone software automatically adjusts everything. ISO, sharpness, EV and other options are not manually adjustable.
