The Playstation 3 is Sony’s spearhead into the entertainment industry, released in November of 2006. There’s a lot of Playstation 3 info to get through, so let’s get started. After debuting at the E3 games show in 2005, there was a lot of hype and speculation regarding the final system’s specifications. The PS3 was the first Blu-ray 2.0 player to be released ever. Of all the Playstation 3 info, this is by far the most impressive, since playing Blu-ray disks isn’t its primary function. The CPU is made up of an IBM designed 3.2 GHz cell microprocessor, and the graphics chip is a NVIDIA RSX ‘Reality Synthesizer’, which has a maximum output of 1080p HD, and looks absolutely fantastic. Obviously, remember that you’ll need an HD TV to make the most of these graphics.
